Zoflora Garden

local landscape and garden designer, Helen Elks-Smith, produced the stunning Zoflora Garden, inspired by the Yorkshire countryside, and kindly asked us to supply the lighting for it.

The brief for us was to supply warm white discreet spotlights using high powered cob arrays, some of these were to be IP68 as they were going to be submersed underwater. These products would normally be built to IP65 as standard, so we were presented with a challenge to redesign the fittings to IP68 in a short timescale without affecting the performance. We do like a challenge! The Monflood 400 at 800 Lumens and the Monoflood 800 at 1200 Lumens were chosen because of their extremely small size, together with high output meant they would blend in unnoticed.

Her design won a gold medal and the best construction award.
